Ru Callender has been a self proclaimed, self taught Radical undertaker for the past 23 years, and draws upon a diverse range of influences in his work, such as rave culture, punk DIY, crop circles and performance art and ritual magic. He had written an account of this time in a book entitled “What remains? Life death and the human art of undertaking” for the progressive US publishers Chelsea Green.
