You may have seen viral videos of folks using code to create dance music. Strudel is one of the popular and most capable platforms; allowing anyone who can code to create rhythm and melody. This workshop will start you on a journey with Strudel - teaching you the interface, some foundational concepts, sharing a few tricks, choice functions and structures to make your sound more well-rounded and your performance fly higher. The aim will be to inspire, so we'll aim to move quickly. Workshop notes will be provided afterwards for you to consider at leisure. Suitable for anyone with some code-writing experience who is willing to make music with maths! Bring headphones and a laptop.
