Livecoded visuals with Picodevil

Music by v buckenham

Saturday from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM in Trash Compactor

Picodevil is a browser-based tool for livecoding visuals. It allows you to take video clips, chop them up, apply effects to them and tile them. You do this by writing (simple) code, viewing the results, then editing it a bit. It is fun to make visuals in this improvised way. In this workshop, I'll teach you how to use Picodevil. Not the whole thing, but enough to have fun with it. And then you can sign up for an open slot at the Trash Compactor and perform with it. Previous coding experience not necessary! If you enjoy changing some numbers and seeing what happens, then you can do this workshop.
