I made an open-source lock-picking robot! It works by feeding a series of wires through small pipes to move the pins of a pin-tumbler lock. I'd love to give a talk explaining a little bit about why such a device is useful, going through a bit of the basics around lock picking and the mechanics of the robot. I've given a few similar talks/workshops about it to a wide range of audiences with different technical backgrounds and have made it portable and easy to set up in any venue that has a table, so I wouldn't really need anything special for the talk.
