Always wanted to learn how a "key exchange" works? Wonder what is the difference between symmetric versus asymmetric encryption? Curious about how cryptography works? This will be an interactive workshop where we will briefly go through key (no pun intended) cryptography-related concepts at a basic level, especially the Diffie-Hellman key exchange, using visual art including blending colours with paints, and paper. The concepts will be at a very introductory, high level (no maths, etc.). Plus, there will be some space themes! And you'll get to take home your very own abstract (or fridge) art and a little certificate of completion for fun memory-making. This session is mainly geared for younger audiences such as children (e.g., 10-18 years old), but any age is welcome, including grown-ups. If you already know cryptography basics or more, then this may not be for you (although you're still welcome to join! Just may or may not be as relevant or exciting).
