Overstory uses satellite imagery plus machine learning to understand individual trees - at scale. I'll talk about how we do this, some of the practical challenges of remote sensing and earth observation, and how we translate this into real world prevention of wildfire and power outage by working with utilities, who manage many thousands of miles of power cables.
