Up - A Scientist's Guide to the Magic Above Us

Talk by Dr Lucy Rogers (She/her) πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦

Saturday from 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM in Stage B

Find joys hidden in plain sight - explore a slice taken from the surface of the Earth up into distant space and discover what we can see. From the glow of a glow-worm to the fuzzy smudge of a distant galaxy, learn where to look and also understand the science behind the phenomena. By the end of this talk you'll know where to look in the air, sky and in space to see murmurations, rainbows and shooting stars and why they cause us to stand and stare.
