Star Party

Come see actual space with your own eyes. Real photons that have bounced off the moon and eventually end up at your eye. We'll have a collection of telescopes and people who know how to point them at interesting things. If the weather is clear we'll set up and let you have a look at the moon which should still be up shortly after dark on the nights of the event. All ages and abilities welcome to drop in and have a look. Stop by for a few minutes, take a look and continue on your way.

Note: This will only happen if there are clear skies. Zoomed in views of clouds in the dark aren't particularly interesting.
