Chiral Sphere

A big Colourful spherical tiling out of laser cut plywood featuring LEDs.

The tiling consists of 20 triangles and 12 Pentagons where the edges of the triangles are twice as long as the edges of the pentagons.

The shape is part of a continuum where an icosahedral tiling morphs into its docecahedral dual in a twisting motion.
