The Hive is an array of golden hexagonal mirrors, modeled after the James Webb telescope and approximately 60cm in diameter. By switching each mirror between reflective or cloudy, and dark or glowing, patterns and symbols appear across the mirror array, and hidden objects are revealed. A keyboard lets attendees interact with the Hive’s patterns. Those paying close attention should be able to solve a series of puzzles and interpret the message that it has been sent to deliver.
