EMF Solar System, built by you

This installation will be built during EMF by attendees - make your own planet and add it to the solar system!

We'll start off with a central sun and a few planets spread out around the space. By the end of the weekend we want you to fill the space with planets! The planets will also be catalogued on a dedicated website with information you provide - including size, name, discoverer, and of course a fun fact.

Your planet(s) can be made of anything - pompoms, decorated polystyrene balls, crochet, swap shop scrap, balloons, etc. - as long as they are light enough to hang safely. Get creative!

There will be some dedicated planet-making workshops with supplies provided - look out for those on the schedule. Outside of the workshops, crafting space and supplies can be found at Tekhnē-cal Village (https://www.emfcamp.org/villages/2026/9-tekhn%C4%93-cal-village) during the daytime (along with friendly villagers).
