DenCity

By Joe Bailey A one meter wide circular city sculpture that plays with the concepts of density in urban and rural development. The city model has over 100 buildings made from: wood, laser cut mdf, ceramics, glass, concrete, and copper.

The model features 180+ LEDs in streetlights and a river running through the whole display. The shape of the river is based on long exposure photographs of mars that are shakey due to me holding the camera-affected by my heart beat and breathing.
